Not far but too far to walk

Which means you need to get a Horse or a Mule !  because it's too far to walk and we are in the Rocky mountain . There is no long winding lake to go on a boat to home of Brown where ever that is situated .

Highline trail is a point to point trail that begins from the Green River Lake and ends near Meeks Cabin Lake . The end is ever drawing nigh  Fenn ALWAYS draws stick figures aka single Line drawing intentionally to give us a hint ..the key word here is LINE nigh rhymes with HIGH . put it together HIGHLINE TRAIL ! Finis Mitchell used this trail to stock fish all over the wind ranges . The central theme of the poem is Trout Stocking . The key to figure out "home of Brown" is the understanding the hidden fly fishing phrase in second stanza that's "Put & Take" Begin it where warn waters halt And  take it  in the canyon down, Not far but too far to walk.
